The device is optimally suited for use as a traffic aggregator in metro networks and mobile transport networks, delivery of leased-line services and in multi-service aggregation scenarios.
Using standard Carrier Ethernet communication models, L2VPN/L3VPN tunneling over MPLS, and OAM and SLA support greatly simplify configuration, management, and monitoring.
The devices have a wide range of L2 and L3 functions for transmitting unicast and multicast traffic, expanded QoS functionality, and means to ensure uninterrupted operation in both hardware and software, which allows you to build flexible and reliable service aggregation systems for corporate and operator services based on the N3-721 networks.
